What are The Hyppo and Mayday Trucks?
These trucks drive around neighborhoods during the day playing old show tunes and making themselves available for residents to purchase our handcrafted frozen treats. Think classic ice cream truck, but fun and bright.
What do the Trucks sell?
The trucks sell pre-packaged Hyppo pops and Mayday Ice Cream pints.
Where do the Trucks go?
Currently the trucks serve parts of St. Johns, Duval, Hillsborough, and Pinellas counties. Occasionally they may be in Polk or Alachua counties as well.
How do I make a purchase?
Simply make yourself visible to the driver (we drive slow and are looking!) and raise your hand like hailing a taxi. We will stop and serve you out of the side window.
The trucks accept all major credit cards and cash.
Can I request the truck to come to my neighborhood?
Yes you can! Please send an email to Luke@thehyppo.com if located in the St. Johns/Duval County area OR Savannah@thehyppo.com if located in the Tampa/St. Pete area - We’ll do our best!
Can I request the truck to come to my house specifically?
We are always happy to hear about where our fans are and we will do our best, but generally we can’t make promises about coming to specific addresses, mostly because our time schedule changes so often.
How do I know what days you will be in each neighborhood?
We post our truck schedule weekly on our Facebook and Instagram pages. @thehyppo @maydayicecream

How do I know what time the Truck will be in my neighborhood?
The truck’s schedule will vary because we can’t fully predict where we’ll be needed most. Some days we could drive through a neighborhood and few people come out, so we don’t stay as long. Other days we may be stopped at every other house on the street and we want to take our time to make sure our customers are well served.
